This is the new parking garage at 7th and Cherry, still under construction. This used to be an Indiana State University parking lot. Now we'll have two parking garages within 2 blocks in downtown Terre Haute. And we'll still hear complaints from people that there is no parking downtown. Because no one wants to walk a block or two....

New Parking Garage
This is the new parking garage at 7th and Cherry, still under construction. This used to be an Indiana State University parking lot. Now we'll have two parking garages within 2 blocks in downtown Terre Haute. And we'll still hear complaints from people that there is no parking downtown. Because no one wants to walk a block or two....

As a young man I grew up in the rural Texas and had never seen a parking garage. At the age of 21 on a trip to the Chicago I went out of my way to drive through a parking garage just to see what one was ... Now in South Carolina I use a parking garage daily ... There are complaints here also, about no parking being available. However, what the complainers are really saying is there is limited free parking.
